About Advance Physio Solihull

Advance Physio is committed to the highest standard of physiotherapy care and both Julia Kilby and Cath Cooke have advanced training and qualifications. We are committed to providing treatment based on research evidence, wherever possible, and we maintain an awareness and knowledge of guidelines formulated both in the UK and abroad. Clinical findings, linked to current knowledge, evidence base and our extensive experience, allows us to help you, in the minimum number of sessions, to reach your maximum potential.

We have over 50 years of experience working with people, young and old, sporty or less active and with a vast range of physical problems. We can say confidently that we will be able to assess, manage and advise you so that you can get on and continue to enjoy life.

Julia Kilby

Julia Kilby Physiotherapist

  • Over 30 years of physiotherapy experience.
  • Gained the Queen Elizabeth Hospital individual Clinical Customer Care Award in 2014.
  • Acupuncture associate (member AACP)
  • Member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP)
  •  Areas of special interest encompass neuromusculoskeletal conditions of patients both young and old, particularly spinal and pelvis pain, jaw problems and chronic pain. Has worked with clinicians in many specialties, including orthopaedics, neurosurgery, chronic pain, dentistry and rheumatology and maintains links to these areas.
  • She has two adult children and her interests include horse riding, leisure cycling, distance walking, performing and visual arts.

Catherine Cooke
MSc BSc HCPC MCSP MACP AACP

Catherine Cooke Physiotherapist

  • Nearly 20 years’ experience in teaching hospitals
  • Team Leader and Clinical Specialist posts at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
  • Acupuncture associate (AACP)
  • Member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapist (MACP)
  • Has special interest in the management of complex multiple trauma, nerve injuries, upper limb injuries, spinal pain and sports injuries and maintains links to other specialists in these areas.
  • Has three young children, enjoys all sports and has represented her county at tennis over many years.
