A great ride for Julia around the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Worcestershire on Birmingham’s inaugural Velo, a 100 mile bike ride.

Thanks to Velo for organising the event so well, to the residents of the roads that were closed and to all the people who turned out to encourage us, cheer us on and to give out water and refreshments.

This initiative has been years in the making and it’s hoped that more people will be encouraged to use their bikes. Let’s make Birmingham a cycle safe city!
