Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

Private face to face physiotherapy at Advance Physio has been suspended during the Covid 19 outbreak. However, we can offer FaceTime consultations, enabling us to do a full assessment of your history and medical health. Whilst the physical examination will be limited to observation and symptom response, it will give us a good indication of your condition. We can then advise you on the way forward, provide you with appropriate exercises and observe you doing them.

We will then follow up the session with as many sessions as required to help you resolve the issue. While we cant offer ‘hands on; treatment or acupuncture, we hope to provide reassurance and a means of monitoring your condition.

Because of the limitations of this service, we offer this at a significantly reduced rate. The first 10 patients we assess this way will receive their first session free of charge.

So don’t wait until all this is over, get in touch and allow us to help you!

Advance Physio is a well established practice based at Tanworth in Arden Medical Centre.

Opened in 2003, the practice serves the people of Tanworth in Arden, Henley in Arden, Hockley Heath, Wootton Wawen and reaches towards Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch, Warwick and Stratford. There’s plenty of free parking on site and Wood End Station is just across the road.

Advance Physio is open every weekday and is run by Julia Kilby and Catherine Cooke, who have over 50 years of combined experience! Both physiotherapists hold Masters degrees in manual therapy and have membership of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, amongst other specialist groups.

You don’t need to be a patient at the practice to have physiotherapy, and you don’t need a doctor’s referral. If the physiotherapist assesses that you need a medical opinion, they will ensure that your doctor is informed.

For a warm and friendly, yet professional physiotherapy assessment you need look no further.
